Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a substance abuse program to assist individuals to start their recovery journey. The program is and individualized program and typically lasts approximately three months. The program meets from 6:00 P.M. – 8:15 P.M. Monday through Thursdays. Upon the participant’s completion of the intensive treatment phase, they then transfer to participation into the aftercare group. The aftercare group will meet once per week for approximately one hour. This group will be facilitated by a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor or a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with experience in Substance Abuse.

Individualized treatment planning for participants, individually and/or family unit, will address understanding of the dynamics of alcohol/drug dependency and strategies for maintaining abstinence from chemical use, as well as focusing on current life problems they are experiencing, learning about the structure and function of families, the roles and dysfunctions that occur as people try to adapt to unhealthy relationships and changing patterns of self-defeating/destructive behaviors.
